To Do List
(1)	Salty dogs' sea shanties- St James Street Methodist Church (3pm- 4pm) …don’t go.
(2)	The Soul café (10-12) … didn’t go.
(3)	Tidy papers in my living room

Unable to sleep again rather than lying in bed frustrating myself I got up and started to make an impression on my living room by sorting through some papers and throwing loads of them away.

Last night I used up all my medication except the sodium valproate (for my epilepsy). By about mid-morning I ran to Boots and got some more. Feeling really tired I thought it wisest to skip The Soul Café this morning and have a nap until lunchtime when I could set off to see the salty sea dogs.

I woke at 3pm, too late to see the salty sea dogs. A lot of my life has been a series of unrealised ambitions and unfulfilled plans, but at that moment I was content to let things be.

I made my evening meal which I had planned for some time- a pork steak with onion, mushrooms, and mixed vegetables cooked in white wine vinegar thickened with flour and a jacket potato which was followed by a cup of tea. It was the first time I’d cooked pork with white wine vinegar another novel edition to my menu.

In the evening I wrote a piece of verse.

In the needless hurry and never-ending, hectic rush of your workaday world,
Each fleeting moment comes and goes and is neither caged nor held.
Your days will soon go- so please cherish them whilst you can,
Rather than going through life without- reason, thought or plan.
Make haste, not to waste a single drop of time.
And remember each instance can bring you a step closer to the sublime.
Your mood may change in the twinkling of an eye,
With yesterday's hallo becoming todays goodbye
(Yes, yes alright! - but let me sleep)
