A recap on yesterday

It’s been another of my sleepless nights. It’s now 5.19 am and I’m not sure off hand when I last slept. Sleep eludes me. Yesterday took it out of me. I woke before 5.00 yesterday and worked solidly apart from cooking, eating and until after midnight.

And running to the Co-op and back to buy some ingredients for a recipe I want to try.

My cooking was quick and easy a gammon steak with pineapple in the air fryer and a jacket potato and the last of a packet of mixed vegetables.

But boy I got a lot done!

A couple of new ideas to try out that came to me last night

(1)	Portrait sketches (this might require renting a stall at Hythe market or a table in St. Johns) and finding somewhere to store it in Hythe…. I’ve got friends in Hythe who might let me store my equipment.
(I shall see if I can find an article and think some more)
(2)	Sketches of Places of Worship
For this I would need a portfolio of church buildings- which I may be able to find. It would then be a matter of posting them on a business page and promoting it.

The Events of the day

This morning after being awake a hell of a long time I crawled off to bed and slept until my alarm sounded telling me it was 12.00 and lunchtime. Lunch was a bacon sandwich, an apple and a cup of tea.

I was mulling over if it would be possible to have a card reader. And a few moments later after doing a Google search which most primary school children could have managed. I found a website and filled out an online form, which resulted in a message- ‘an advisor would be with you shortly’.

(Only problem was that by 17.46 there was no sign of the advisor)

(It looked like my dream of making money from my artwork was coming closer to come true)

An email came through and I have now booked a Covid jab in Boots Southampton next week.

My evening meal

Made my first attempt at Bobotie I didn’t have one of the ingredients and it took a fair amount of time, what’s wrong with taking time over something especially when you enjoy it. In spelt really good as the oven made its magical transformation.

It was a good day, I’m a little closer to making some money from my artwork and I had the promise of a delicious meal.

After my meal

I was absolutely shattered and slept through the evening and woke, at around midnight. During my sleep I must have mulled over my experience with the Credit Card Terminal Company and have decided later in the day (it’s 1.32 am now) I will find another company…

They said after I had called me ‘An advisor will be with you shortly’.

I like people and businesses who ‘say what they mean and mean what they say’. And that wasn’t my experience with the company who I contacted.

(In my experience nothing in life is ever straightforward, but I’m always up for another challenge and will fight another day)
